After his silver medal at the Summer Games in London and winning the overall World Cup Nino Schurter achieved an incredible season with his triumph at the Cross Country World Cup in Saalfelden Austria. Schurter got the gold medal, the second major victory in a World Cup after 2009.

The Swiss championshiplast week did not go well for Zumstein, but at the World Cup finals in the Junior Val d'Isère he howed again his strength. Behind world champion Victor Koretzky and French masters Titouan Carod he won the third rank.

Especially in the technically difficult passages Dominic drove confidently. After a slow start he was able to fight his way to the front. The race in 1900 m over see level required a good scheduling of the race. And that's what he and Andri succeeded to do.
